Most fashion for girls is designed by people who aren't actually shopping for them. We built The Headliner a little differently.
It started as a family project. Sisters Kelly and Lisa co-founded The Headliner around a shared frustration: it was surprisingly hard to find clothes for girls that felt age-appropriate without feeling babyish, and trend-right without copying adult styles head to toe.
Our curators are girls themselves. Lisa's daughters help pick what makes it into the shop — which means our collections are shaped by girls who are actually living this stage, not just marketed at them. You'll see their picks called out throughout the site as Livvy & Mya's Picks.
We built it around confidence, not just trends. Clothes are one of the first places girls get to express who they are. We try to choose pieces that support that — comfortable, wearable, genuinely likable pieces, not just what's trending for five minutes. Explore Tops, Bottoms, Dresses, and Accessories to see it in action.
Giving back is part of how we do business. The Headliner supports Phoenix Children's Hospital, because we believe a business built around kids should give back to kids, not just sell to their parents.
We're still a small, hands-on shop. That means we actually read feedback, adjust based on what customers tell us, and care about getting sizing, fit, and style right — because we're shopping for our own kids too.
